USA made wood and metal downdraft tables are specialized workstations designed to capture dust, fumes, and airborne particles directly at the source, improving air quality and safety in workshops. They differ in size, filtration needs, and ideal applications depending on the material being worked on.

Woodworking Downdraft Tables
•     Purpose: Designed for sanding, cutting, and shaping wood, these tables capture fine wood dust before it disperses into the air.
•     Size & Setup: Typically larger, requiring up to 16 square feet of space. Ideal for spacious woodworking shops.
•     Filtration System: Equipped with airflow filters that trap wood particles and return clean air to the workspace.

Metalworking Downdraft Tables
•     Purpose: Built for grinding, welding, and cutting metal, these tables handle sparks, fumes, and heavy particulate matter.
•     Size & Portability: Generally more compact than woodworking tables, making them suitable for industrial or space-limited environments.
•     Filtration System: Includes spark arrestors and specialized filters for metal dust and fumes. Some models use wet filtration to handle combustible dust.
•     Design Features:
•     Flat or vented back surfaces for dual airflow (downdraft and backdraft)
